Tom clancy's the division gameplay: The place where history lives

Hello! Temorlan is with you, and today I’ll talk about the importance of details on locations in the game and how industry practices change over time. Information taken from an interview with an environmental artist.

The dark zone is a place where you regularly find yourself in completely insane and adrenaline-filled situations. Here you can try to shoot some moron for singing something in a nasty voice (yes, The Division has built-in voice communication), and get on the head from his comrades sitting in ambush. Or witness a shootout of two steep groups, after which walk past a mountain of corpses and take all the prey. If you don’t like such a welter, you can skip the dark zone – it has almost nothing to do with the main plot and looks more like an additional attraction for those who want to collect the best equipment or just want variety.

By the way, this is what is good in the first place. and The Division – it does not bother the player at all, forcing him to do what he does not like. This is not an MMO of the old generation, where you need to spend several hours a day on completely uninteresting things, but first of all an expensive and spectacular action movie, which is most fun to play in the company – and it doesn’t even matter, friends or casual companions. If you wish, You can deal with The Division in a couple of dozen hours – it takes just so much to complete the main campaign and the main side missions – and get a lot of fun from the plot and exciting fights. If you want more, then you can re-run the campaign on increased difficulty, try to collect the best set of equipment and arrange a small war in the dark zone. Well, or just wait until the developers begin to expand the game – three additions have already been announced, which will add new features and continue the story.
