Ubisoft offers Tom Clancy's The Division again for free

Publisher Ubisoft announced the holding of paid weekend in the shooter Tom Clancy’s The Division.

Of course, sooner or later New York will cease to amaze – you quickly get used to the good. We need to think about what we will do here in the future. Any online game is a great entertainment service with many years of support. The Division has the development potential for years to come, but no matter how good it may be on the release, without regular updates in a year we will remember only jokes about the “downgrade”.

For a long time, not only us, but, it seems, even the developers themselves did not believe in the success of The Division. Two and a half years ago, project director Ryan Barnard dazzled with a frank story about his disappointment in online players. Allegedly, they have become so aggressive towards each other that they can alienate beginners even from the most interesting project. A few months later, another unnamed source from The Division’s development team said that Ubisoft has no idea how the game should work. Finally, constant transfers of the project’s release date did not hint at anything good.
