Tom Clancy's The Division will receive a free Resistance update

Ubisoft has announced an 1.8 update called Resistance for Tom Clancy’s The Division. The company has not yet announced the exact release date, but promises to “soon” organize its open testing.

The update will expand the map of Manhattan and add a new gaming zone – West Side Pier, in the center of which is the aircraft carrier “Intrepid”. In this zone, according to the developers, the players are waiting for “a whole series of new activities.”

Also in the game there will be a new mode – “Resistance”. Players will team up with other agents to repel waves of enemies acting together.

The second new mode is “Firefight”. This is a PvP mode in which players can fight each other in a “four on four” format. The fighting, according to the authors, will take place in “new arenas created specifically for this regime.”
