Ubisoft offers to play The Division for free. Until the end of this week, Uplay users will be able to download an online shooter. Console owners will have to wait until September 13 to install the game through the PS Store and Xbox Live Gold.

Now in The Division I see a “starter” set of sixteen missions that you will go through at least three times, a sandbox with optional assignments and an extremely unfriendly “dark zone”. Then there will be raids and PvP activities, but for now it remains only to collect resources for rare equipment, pass tests and scare other players in the “dark zone”.

Outside the game, Ubisoft Massive closely monitors thematic reddit, promptly answers questions about the project and corrects errors on the fly. What seriously surprised me, with communication problems, the game throws out, but does not roll back progress. Where you disconnected, there appear, nothing to go through again and again stomp to the key point is not necessary. For twenty hours on PS4 the game fell to me only once with an error, and even disconnected from the server a couple of times.
